Career
Sarah is the Head of the Banking and Finance department and is an expert in a range of corporate finance, real estate investment and development finance and asset-based lending matters.
Sarah is an experienced and highly regarded finance lawyer, acting for a broad range of lender clients, as well as borrowers on a range of finance transactions, including acquisition, commercial and corporate lending, and property. Her expertise covers most aspects of lending transactions in the corporate and commercial arenas. She has considerable experience in handling high-value and complex lending transactions, both domestic and cross-border.
Additionally, Sarah has developed specialist knowledge in savings products and regularly advises building societies and credit unions on issues relevant to the sector, including standard terms and conditions.

Advice to lenders and borrowers on a range of investment and development financings in the leisure and hotel space.
Acting for a South East-based goods handling trust in connection with the refinance of its existing facilities with one major bank; to new facilities with another. We advised on LMA facility documentation and security documents, with those facilities including sustainability-linked loans.
Acting for a food manufacturer in connection with an £18m development finance facility to allow it to expand and redevelop its sites.
Acting for an ABL lender on the provision of factoring facilities to a large UK flooring retailer, which is part of a much larger international PLC.
Acting for a major bank in connection with acquisition finance facilities to a group of care home operators. The purpose of the facilities was to enable a group company to acquire a new luxury care home, to restructure the group and refinance its existing lending, and to provide working capital.
