Nicola is a highly experienced commercial litigator with excellent awareness of risk management issues in business.

Throughout her career, she has worked with a variety of clients in many different industries. This experience allows her to understand what real business is and how to not only solve problems, but also put processes in place to avoid them in the future. She has dealt with large scale litigation, injunctions, arbitrations and adjudications – and has a particular focus in IT, telecoms and insurance.

Nicola has an excellent understanding of the in-house paradigm having worked for an international security solutions provider in South East Asia as General Counsel for two and a half years. More recently, she spent time with the award-winning in-house litigation team at BT.

In her role as head of Business Relationships at asb, Nicola enjoys spending time getting to know both new and existing businesses. She prides herself on establishing and maintaining relationships with clients and understanding their needs in order to deliver the service they want at a price that is right for them.

She is recognised as 'up and coming' in Chambers & Partners UK 2020.
