Position

Constantine acts across the full range of commercial disputes. He is currently instructed on a major fraud claim in the Commercial Court, and a claim under the Human Rights Act for compensation for withheld green energy subsidies. He also welcomes smaller instructions, and regularly appears unled.

Career

Before coming to the Bar, Constantine covered European political economy for a leading financial markets research firm and was ranked in a global industry directory of investment analysts.

Notable current and recent instructions include:

Jinxin v Aser: acting (with Simon Colton KC and Daniel Benedyk) for the main defendants in a Commercial Court claim for deceit and conspiracy worth over $600 million, relating to alleged bribery, corruption and anti-competitive practices in the acquisition of Italian Serie A and FIFA World Cup media rights. The claim is listed for a 21-week trial in 2025. Havant Biogas v Ofgem: acting (with Thomas Sharpe KC) for the claimants in TCC proceedings for just satisfaction for breach of Article 1 Protocol 1 ECHR, following the defendant’s unlawful withholding of biomethane subsidies. Advising a litigation funder on interest awards in a competition claim (with Alex Polley KC)

Constantine is fluent and happy to accept instructions in French, and also speaks Italian and Modern Greek.
