Position
Ruth's practice spans the full spectrum of commercial litigation and arbitration including general commercial, commodities, energy, insurance, international trade and shipping. Since joining chambers in 2003, she has appeared in the House of Lords, Court of Appeal, and High Court. She has also represented clients in a variety of international and trade arbitrations (including ICC, LCIA, LMAA and GAFTA) and assisted clients in FOSFA arbitrations. Ruth has acted in a number of high profile cases, including "The Achilleas", a leading case on the contractual principles of remoteness of damage.
