Peter practises across 5 Essex Chambers’s core areas, representing police forces, and public and local authorities.

Position

He frequently acts in the High Court, Crown Court, County Court and Magistrates' Court on matters including proceeds of crime, human rights, licensing and civil litigation.

Peter also practises in the Caribbean. He has temporary call to the bar of the Cayman Islands, where he was junior counsel in a major constitutional challenge.  He also advised on a major constitutional challenge in Trinidad and Tobago.

Career

Called to the Bar 2015. Peter joined 5 Essex Chambers as a third-six pupil in November 2017 after a varied career in law. Peter qualified as a solicitor in 2010, after which he worked as a litigator at Hogan Lovells and then in the NGO sector.  Peter transferred to the Bar in 2015.
