Position

Nathan has experience in all areas of criminal law. He is a hard-working and effective trial advocate and has been instructed in cases involving organised crime, grave violent and sexual offences, and serious fraud.  He combines thorough preparation with sound judgment, and is comfortable dealing with complex and sensitive cases.

He is an incisive appellate lawyer who is available to provide specialist advice on criminal appeals, including to the Court of Appeal, the European Court of Human Rights and the Criminal Cases Review Commission.  He has experience of judicial review and appeals in the High Court relating to insolvency and extradition.

In addition to his domestic practice, Nathan has particular expertise in international human rights law and international criminal litigation. He has worked on a number of high profile cases involving military and political leaders charged before international criminal tribunals, and is available to advise on all areas of international criminal and humanitarian law.
