Position
Caitlin’s personal injury practice encompasses a broad range of fast track, intermediate track, and multi-track work, and she frequently advises on cases with a value exceeding £100,000.
Caitlin has been a member of chambers since March 2022, following the successful completion of her pupillage under the supervision of Chris Allen.
Acting for both claimants and defendants, Caitlin’s practice covers the breadth of personal injury work, including road traffic accidents, employers’ liability, occupiers’ liability, public liability (including the Highways Act 1980), and credit hire. Caitlin’s court diary is complimented by her busy paperwork practice, comprising of particulars of claim, defences, schedules of loss, and advices on both liability and quantum.
Caitlin prides herself on her meticulous attention to detail in the analysis of her cases, and is always happy to talk through prospects and tactics with those who instruct her, on a formal or informal basis.
Caitlin also frequently delivers training and talks on areas of law or procedure which may be of assistance to those instructing her, and recently delivered a talk at the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) Catastrophic Injuries Conference on the topic of deprivation of liberty in the context of catastrophic injury claims.

Caitlin believes in actively encouraging access to the profession, particularly for groups who are currently underrepresented at the Bar. She has acted as a mentor to aspiring barristers with schemes such as Bridging the Bar and Young Bar Mentoring, and welcomes aspiring barristers who perhaps feel as though they have no existing contacts within the profession to drop her a message on Linkedin if they have any questions.
