Bill has always been mad about cars, motorbikes and lorries, he is fascinated with their design and performance. He has a Class 1 LGV (heavy goods) licence, and has passed the Institute of Advanced Motorists test on both cars and articulated lorries. He has a competition driving licence, and races in the Historic Sports Cars series at weekends, driving old Lotuses. He has been keen on wine for 40 years. He is an enthusiastic photographer.
