Samir regularly appears in both the High Court and County Court in trials, appeals and applications. Samir’s key areas of work include commercial litigation; company and partnership; insolvency; property and trusts; landlord and tenant; and wills and probate.

Recent cases Samir has been involved in include:

- Being led by Mark Anderson KC in a six week High Court unfair prejudice trial in relation to a company worth £150m+. Now listed for a 10 day quantum trial.

- Being led by Mohammed Zaman KC, in a trial listed for six weeks in the High Court relating to a family run company/partnership, and the beneficial ownership of the same arising out of constructive trust, partnership and estoppel worth £100m+.

- Being led by Philip Rule KC in an appeal to the Privy Council, relating to the enforceability of loan contracts and security entered into in breach of local Cayman legislation, pursuant to the doctrine of illegality.
