Joshua Purser enjoys a varied practice prosecuting and defending weighty matters across a broad spectrum of criminal law. He brings a sharp wit and a forensic attention to detail to all cases in which he is instructed. Joshua has experience in complex conspiracy cases involving child sexual exploitation, County Lines drug supply, serious organised crime and homicide both led and acting as junior alone.

Joshua has been appointed to the approved panel of assistants to leading counsel at the International Criminal Court (The Hague).

In addition to his work in the law, he contributes a great deal of his time to equality and diversity. He represents the Midlands Circuit on the CPS/Bar Diversity & Inclusion Group as well as the LGBTQ+ Sub-Committee of the Birmingham Law Society.
