Called to the Bar 2001; previously qualified as solicitor 1993; spent five years working as senior assistant solicitor at Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council, advising and representing the social services department; moved to private practice for two years, focusing on all aspects of family law, before transferring to the Bar.
