Position

A specialist employment and discrimination law practitioner, who acts for a wide range of clients from multi-national companies, NHS Trusts, universities, national charities to the individual. Tim has particular expertise in public sector discrimination and whistleblowing claims, and is instructed across the range of employment disputes, including applications for injunctive relief and internal investigations. He represents clients in the Court of Appeal, the High Court, the EAT, the County Court and has appeared most of the ETs nationally, both in person and virtually. Tim is known as a skilled, client centred advocate.

Career

Called to the Bar 1995; awarded Duke of Edinburgh Entrance scholarship, Inner Temple Bursary award, Lawrence Atwell’s award; prior to the Bar taught for periods in New Zealand and Spain and gained experience of the NGO sector – as a volunteer for Survival and Amnesty International.

Spanish, intermediate French.
