In the 2021 edition of The Legal 500 Shannon Revel was ranked a 'Rising Star' in crime at Tier 1. She was cited as an advocate who 'makes complex legal submissions with apparent ease.'Shannon defends in serious crime and enjoys a solid practice. Recent instructions as sole counsel include offences of attempted murder, firearms offences, and multi handed cases involving the importation of class A drugs and encrochat evidence. Shannon is regularly instructed in cases involving gang violence and associoated offences of kidnap/blackmail or large scale public disorder.
As a led junior Shannon is instructed in cases of murder, attempted murder, multi-million pound frauds and serious sexual offences. This includes a number of cases in which she is led by Queen's Counsel.
Shannon is a level 3 advocate on the CPS panels for general crime and specialist fraud.
