Called 1983.

Roger Hiorns graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1982 and was called to the Bar by the Middle Temple in 1983. On completion of his pupillage at 2 Dr Johnson's Building he became a tenant in that set which moved out of the Temple in 1984 to new premises at 9 Gough Square( now Deka Chambers). He initially practised in general common law but for the last 20 years has practised exclusively in personal injury, fatal accident and clinical negligence claims. He has particular expertise in occupational disease claims and writes the chapter on Work Related Upper Limb Disorders for the loose-leaf publication "Occupational Illness Litigation".

Position

Roger Hiorns spent his first 10 years in Chambers with a broad common law practice which saw him appear in all types of courts on a daily basis.

For more than 25 years now he has practised exclusively in the fields of personal injury, fatal accident, clinical negligence and professional negligence claims. He now has a wealth of experience in these areas and can return paperwork very quickly.
