Career

Riccardo advises, drafts, and represents clients of all types particularly in the practice areas listed above. He accepts instructions to appear in all courts and tribunals and has appeared in the High Court, Court of Appeal, and Supreme Court. He has appeared in a number of high-profile and test cases, and more than 50 reported cases in the higher courts.

He is on the Attorney General’s and the Equality and Human Rights Commission’s Panels of Counsel.

Recent notable cases include: Zaman v Waltham Forest LBC [2023] EWCA Civ 322,  Uduezue v Bexley LBC [2023] EWCA Civ 322, Croydon LBC v Kalonga [2022] 2 WLR 592, SC; R (Kalonga) v Croydon LBC [2022] EWCA Civ 670; Stanley v Welwyn Hatfield BC [2021] HLR 12, CA; and Ralph v Ralph [2021] EWCA Civ 1106, showing the breadth of his practice from homelessness through judicial review to property law.
