RECENT CASES Appeared in the Appeal Tribunal, successfully challenging an Employment Tribunal decision regarding anonymous witness evidence on perversity grounds - Tai Tarian Ltd v Christie (2020) UKEAT/0059/19. Representing a claimant before the Appeal Tribunal on the issue of whether Asperger’s Syndrome is a disability under the statutory definition; (Final hearing pending, 4th February 2021). Appeared in the Appeal Tribunal in the reported case Talon Engineering Ltd v Smith [2018] IRLR 1104. Represented a claimant in a case involving allegations of serious sexual assault and harassment in her workplace; (resulted in settlement). Instructed in a 4-week tribunal claim for whistleblowing detriment and dismissal, representing an NHS consultant histopathologist, opposing counsel to Simon Gorton QC. Represented a claimant in a large Costs application, opposing counsel to Ben Cooper QC.
