Abigail White practises in all areas of crime.

Position

Abigail is a door tenant in chambers. She currently works as an Advocacy Tutor on the part-time and full-time Barrister Training Course (BTC) at BPP in London.

Abigail has extensive experience prosecuting and defending in a wide range of serious and complex cases.  Abigail is a Grade 3 Prosecutor and is regularly instructed to prosecute multi-handed cases involving the importation of drugs, armed robbery, firearms, false imprisonment, child cruelty and serious violence. Abigail also has considerable experience in fraud cases. Abigail has also been instructed in civil cases.

Career

Abigail was called to the Bar in 2000. Abigail is a Grade 3 Prosecutor for the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).

Criminal Prosecutions - Private & Public

Abigail is often instructed in complex and serious criminal cases, and she has extensive experience prosecuting and defending in a wide ranging cases in the Crown Courts in and around London and Kent.

Abigail is a grade 3 prosecutor for the CPS, and her practice is mainly prosecution led. Abigail has experience of multi-handed cases involving the importation of drugs, armed robbery, firearms, false imprisonment, child cruelty and serious violence. Abigail also has considerable experience in fraud cases.

Abigail often advises in cases involving complex disclosure issues and has successfully dealt with a number of recent cases involving PII.

Abigail is also experienced in cases involving the Proceeds of Crime Act and has recently successfully obtained an order for the confiscation of hidden assets in Suriname.
