Charles is the author of "Drafting Residential Leases" (1st Edition 1984, as Residential Leases, 2nd & 3rd Editions  1990 and 1995).

Charles is an Honorary legal adviser, University House Legal Advice Centre since c.1976.

Career

Charles was called to the Bar in 1972.

Civil Litigation

Charles is a specialist in personal injury and fatal accidents, including noise induced hearing loss and industrial disease. Charles accepts professional negligence instructions, including medical negligence and cases involving solicitors and surveyors negligence.

Charles has expertise in landlord and tenant matters, including residential and service charge disputes.

Chancery & Commercial

Charles accepts instructions in relation to chancery and commercial matters. Charles specialises in commercial law and companies, including unfair prejudice, clubs & unincorporated associations, including incorporation of unincorporated associations.

Charles also accepts instructions in relation to wills, probate and the administration of estates, including Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 and undue influence.
