Recent cases include defending a man acquitted of the murder by shooting of a property developer in East London; representing a woman acquitted of the murder of a drug dealer in a county lines 'turf war'; defending a male acquitted of the murder of a 16 year old killed in his home as a result of a gang related dispute; successfully appealing the sentence of the Head of Finance at a digital media company who had admitted fraud; acting for a company director and practising doctor charged with a breach of trust fraud on a healthcare company; and appearing for a defendant accused of being the head of a substantial duty evasion conspiracy involving 22 defendants.
Mr Reiz KC is also presently instructed to represent the lead defendant in a case which concerns the importation of 1 tonne of class A drugs and firearms; defends one of nine defendants accused of the murder of an 18 year old male in Liverpool; acts for a defendant accused of defrauding Royal Mail of £75 million in a private prosecution and represents an interested party in confiscation proceedings concerning tens of millions of pounds of cryptocurrency.
