Edward Boydell is highly experienced in all aspects of family law but particularly financial remedies (including civil partnerships). He has specific expertise in dealing with complex high-net-worth matters involving family businesses, farms, companies and trusts. He is also very experienced in equitable co-ownership. Particularly well known for his family finance work and recognised in The Legal 500 and by Chambers and Partners as one of the ‘Leaders at the Bar’, he also has a niche civil practice. Edward was appointed a Recorder in 2005 sitting in Civil and Family (including Private Law, Public Law and Financial Remedy Appeals). Since 2015 he has also sat as a Recorder of the Crown Court. Edward sits as a judge of the Financial Remedies Court and is ticketed to hear appeals. Edward is regularly invited to speak at seminars including the Hampshire Family Court Forum, Western Circuit CPD Conference, Hampshire Resolution, Devon Resolution, Thames Valley Family Lawyers and Whitepaper.Memberships
