Alice Scott

Position

Alice Scott joined Chambers in October 2019 following the successful completion of pupillage. She is building a broad common law practice and accepts instructions in all areas of Chambers’ work.

Career

Called 2015, Inner Temple.

Prior to joining Chambers, Alice worked as a Legal Advisor to Grenfell Tower survivors and was instrumental in establishing a new legal advice clinic with the University College London Centre for Access to Justice in Stratford, advising over 100 vulnerable people on social welfare law. In these roles Alice provided tribunal representation in benefit appeals and worked towards developing and influencing public policy in social security and housing law.

She also spent four-months in Houston, Texas, representing people facing the death penalty. Alice received the Sir John Priestly Scholarship from Inner Temple to complete the internship.
