Position

Barrister (Call: 2011, MT), also called to the Singapore bar, specialising in commercial and international law. His recent work has involved advice and representation in cross-border commercial matters and disputes in the Far East and Middle East, as well as advice on foreign investment, treaty and other international law matters. 

Career

Currently Choh-Ming Li Professor, Professor of Law at the Chinese University of Hong Kong following a decade as Professor of Law at Hong Kong University. He is a Visiting Professor at King's College London, Guest Professor under the Shanghai Government's 1000 Plan, and sits on a trade and industry department committee which advises the Hong Kong SAR’s Commerce Secretary. Previously taught at the National University of Singapore, was a government international lawyer at the Singapore Attorney-General's Chambers and a UN lawyer at UNCC, Geneva. Arbitrator, KLRCA.

Malay, Indonesian (Bahasa), knowledge of certain spoken Chinese dialects.
