Significant cases include: the Article 50 Brexit case (Miller); the Scottish independence referendum reference (Lord Advocate’s Reference); the challenge to the prorogation of Parliament (Miller/Cherry); recoverability of damages for breach of data protection law (Google v Lloyd); the challenge to the Rwanda deportation policy (AAA); the Covid Inquiry’s powers to order disclosure (Cabinet Office v Chair of UK Covid-19 Inquiry); and changes to Royal protective security (Duke of Sussex).

Called 2008; Inner Temple; College Lecturer in Law, Christ Church, Oxford 2008; judicial assistant to the Justices of the Supreme Court (2009-10). Author of numerous articles, case notes and book reviews in leading academic journals, including the ‘Law Quarterly Review’, ‘Cambridge Law Journal’, and ‘Judicial Review’. Co-author of Bradley, Ewing & Knight, ‘Constitutional and Administrative Law’ (2022, 18th ed., Pearson). Contributor to ‘The White Book’. Member of Editorial Committee of ‘Public Law’.
