Position

Barrister and accredited mediator with a busy practice covering a wide range of chancery and commercial work with a particular emphasis on traditional chancery. Leon has a strong private client practice including inheritance disputes, trust litigation, the Court of Protection and capital taxes. He is currently involved in a number of high profile cases and is representing His Exalted Highness the 8th Nizam of Hyderabad in the widely reported Pakistan v Natwest litigation. His cases include acting for the Official Solicitor in tax planning and other applications in the Court of Protection, representing charities in legacy disputes, the rescission of a settlement that had adverse tax consequences, a trust variation, rectification claims and numerous probate and 1975 Act claims. Leon also has a busy advisory and non-contentious practice and regularly gives seminars on all aspects of private client work.
