Position

Simon primarily practises in disputes about the financial consequences of divorce, separation or death. He also drafts nuptial agreements, mediates, sits as a private FDR judge and acts for claimants and on behalf of insurers in professional negligence claims in a family law context.

Career

Simon spent his early years at the Bar as a chancery practitioner and is consequently at home dealing with complex financial remedy claims involving companies, business assets, farms and trusts, TOLATA claims in respect of cohabiting couples and Inheritance Act claims. Cases of interest include P v Q (Financial Remedies) [2022] EWFC B9, Landsberg v Minkin [2015] EWCA Civ 152, Mansfield v Mansfield [2017].
