Rebecca Musgrove is a barrister at Parklane Plowden Chambers who specialises in Family: Children and Court of Protection.

Position

Rebecca is a specialist Family Law and Court of Protection barrister. Rebecca completed her pupillage with Parklane Plowden in September 2017 under the supervision of Sara Anning.

Rebecca's practice encompasses all areas of Family Law and has a varied practice encompassing private children, care proceedings and injunctive proceedings. Rebecca has experience of appearing at all levels including the High Court. 

Rebecca is known for her attention to detail, hard-working nature, and client handling skills. Rebecca has a particular interest in representing vulnerable clients and children and ensuring they are able to fully participate in proceedings. 

Prior to coming to the Bar, Rebecca worked as a volunteer for the National Centre for Domestic Violence. Rebecca also worked as a member of the Family Justice Young People’s Board (FJYPB), previously the Cafcass Young People’s Board, from 2006 until commencing pupillage in 2016. Rebecca helped to create the FJYPB’s National Charter for Children and Young People and has delivered workshops at the Annual Voice of the Child Conference hosted by the FJYPB. 

Rebecca has an interest in promoting access and diversity to the legal profession.
