Career

Philippa is a specialist family mediator. This follows a successful practice at the Family Bar from 2009 when she joined One Pump Court chambers. Having trained with ADRg and successfully completed the ‘Mediating Disputes’ course at Harvard Law School in 2013, she is a member of the Family Mediation Council Register. Philippa regularly mediates on all issues arising from separation and divorce. A member of Resolution, she is committed to a constructive approach to resolving family disputes.

Philippa is a firm believer in the power of out-of-court dispute resolution to provide the best outcomes for clients. Her calm and practical approach helps clients work through even the most challenging issues. She has built up a first class reputation as a personable mediator, appreciated for her calmness and patience but also her tenacity.

Whilst at the Bar, Philippa specialised in the field of family law. She has extensive experience representing parents in disputes concerning arrangements for children and in the full range of financial cases. She appeared as an advocate in courts at all levels, and gained a reputation for fighting hard when representing clients whilst providing realistic advice.
