Career
Roxanne specialises in complex financial remedy matters following divorce. She also has a busy practice in private children law disputes and applications under the Family Law Act 1996.
Roxanne has an approachable manner which puts clients at ease but fights fearlessly for them in the court room. Roxanne is often complimented by both clients and judges on her oral and written advocacy and is frequently instructed against opponents many years her senior.
Roxanne completed her pupillage under the supervision of Rosemary Budden, Daniel Bentham and Morgan Sirikanda,
Before coming to QEB, Roxanne spent three months in Mississippi, USA, working on post-conviction death row appeals with charity Amicus, volunteered with the Royal Courts of Justice Citizens’ Advice Bureau, and represented parents in their tribunal appeals against local authority decisions concerning their children’s special educational needs. She also assisted on complex, multi-million pound financial remedy cases working as a paralegal for a leading matrimonial finance law firm.
