Position

As a public family practitioner, Holly appears on behalf of Local Authorities, parents and children’s guardians. Holly has experience dealing with case management hearings, contested removals, urgent applications and multi-day fact and final hearings.

In private family, Holly has experience of taking cases from issue through to final hearings. Holly has experience of directions hearings, multi-day final hearings and fact-finding hearings, acting for both parents and children.

Holly is known for her meticulous preparation and keen attention to detail. She is considered a tenacious and incisive advocate and is often instructed in complex disputes. Holly is well regarded for her client service and the support she provides clients both prior to, during and post hearings.

Holly has a varied private law practice, appearing on behalf of both parents and children (through their rule 16.4 Guardian). Holly has experience of directions hearings, final hearings and fact-finding hearings.

Holly is well equipped at dealing with various applications in private law, including:

Holly has experience in cases involving parental alienation, emotional abuse, allegations of sexual abuse, fabricated illness and physical abuse.

Holly was recently instructed in a 5-day fact-find where she successfully defended allegations of rape and sexual abuse of a child, and secured findings of alienation and indoctrination.

Holly accepts instructions in all private law children.

Holly has an interest in fertility/surrogacy law and is actively seeking to grow her practice in this area.

Public Law Children

Holly has appeared on behalf of Local Authorities, parents and children’s guardians in public law proceedings. Holly has experience dealing with case management hearings, contested removals, urgent applications and multi-day hearings.

Recently, Holly acted on behalf of a Father in a 17-day contested final hearing. This case involved expert evidence, cross-examination of a child, and parties who were litigants in person.

Holly accepts instructions in all public law children matters.
