Career

Year of Call: 1992

For over 25 years Greg has focused upon work involving children and is motivated to secure the best outcomes for the children and families that find themselves before the Family Court.  Recognising that such cases are inevitably challenging and stressful for the parties concerned, he seeks to bring a pragmatic and solution focussed approach to matters.  Not only an experienced advocate in court, but a skilful negotiator, he recognises that more favourable outcomes, often outside those available to the court may be achieved through compromise.

Greg prides himself on his sensitive and careful attitude towards clients whilst offering realistic advice and firm representation.  Taking time to understand clients’ anxieties and worries, setting out strengths and weaknesses but not afraid to give robust advice enables clients to make informed and hopefully child focussed decisions.

“He is standout and an absolutely class act. He is really well prepared and focuses on the issues without getting bogged down in the details. He is a very good advocate; he has a very appealing style in court and is good at cross-examining.” Chambers and Partners 2016.
