Jack Pankhurst is a specialist commercial and chancery barrister and a trained mediator. His practice spans the breadth of commercial disputes, including company and insolvency; contractual disputes; offshore work; wills and trust litigation; professional negligence claims; property matters; and related specialisms.

Jack has experience in acting at every stage of a dispute, from the pre-action stage through to trial and enforcement, and during interim applications and injunctions. Jack is comfortable working as sole counsel and, where appropriate, as part of a team. As sole counsel, Jack has experience of dealing with cases of all types including high-value litigation with an international element.

Prior to coming to the Bar, Jack worked briefly in the buying department of a large UK business and later as a German-speaking Analyst at JPMorgan. Jack joined Chambers following the successful completion of his chancery and commercial pupillage in April 2022. Jack’s pupil supervisors were Nick Pointon, Charlie Newington-Bridges, Oliver Wooding, and James Pearce-Smith.
