Career

Called 2012, Lincoln’s Inn. Richard successfully completed his pupillage in chambers under the supervision of Cathryn McGahey, Mark James and Paul McGrath. He has gained experience of a wide range of areas including public law work, professional negligence, costs, employment, personal injury, insurance fraud and credit hire. Richard is building a busy practice across the range of Chambers’ work. He has been instructed by Claimants and Defendants to appear in trials and interlocutory hearings in County Courts. He regularly appears for the Home Office in the Immigration Tribunal and does drafting work for the Treasury Solicitor. Before coming to the Bar, Richard volunteered for the Hammersmith & Fulham Law Centre and the FRU. He was a finalist in the BPP Mooting Competition 2012. He is also a contributor to the PI Brief Update newsletter.
