Career
Brad specialises in general crime with extensive experience as both prosecuting and defence counsel in the Magistrates' Court and the Crown Court. Brad is instructed to defend and prosecute a broad range of criminal offences including serious violence, sexual offences, drugs, dishonesty and road traffic offences. He receives both public and private instructions and he additionally deals with a number of civil matters (including warrants of entry and CBOs) and extradition.
Prior to tenancy, Brad worked at the Law Commission on the Property, Family and Trusts Law Team, working primarily on the Enforcement of Family Financial Orders. Brad also worked as a law tutor for a number of years, teaching undergraduate and BPTC students in a wide range of subjects. He has also provided lectures in subjects including corporate crime, confidentiality and privilege.
Brad undertook voluntary work at the BLAC Family Unit and Article 8 Project.
