Miss Cracknell was called to the Bar in 2014. She read Philosophy at the University of Manchester, obtaining her degree in 2012,  she completed the Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP Manchester in 2013 and the BPTC at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2014. Miss Cracknell secured a common law pupillage at Harrington Street in January 2015 and formally joined Chambers in 2016 upon completion.

In her formative years of practice she undertook work across all areas. She was led by Anthony Berry QC  (defending in a complex financial fraud matter) in 2016, by Andrew Loveridge in Sefton MBC v B & H (2016) before Mr Justice Hedley and by Erim Mutaq in R v A & Oths in a six week murder trial in 2017.

Miss Cracknell now specialises in family law covering both public and private children cases, appearing regularly for parents, Guardians and Local Authorities.

Miss Cracknell regularly appears in SEND tribunal matters both at First Tier Tribunal and Upper Tier Tribunal in appeals against Education Health Care Plans.
