Career
Kyle has a common law practice and accepts instructions in all aspects of Chambers work. He appears in the Magistrates’, Crown and County Courts nationwide, acting for a variety of clients including, privately instructing Solicitors and organisations and public authorities.
Kyle has several years’ experience of working in the private and public law sectors, having worked as a property and litigation paralegal for a firm of Solicitors and as an in-house legal officer and court representative for a Greater London local authority. Through such roles, he dealt with general litigation, housing (social and private) and regulatory prosecution cases. He is highly adaptable and brings a wealth of knowledge and skillset to cases.
Crime
Kyle is regularly instructed in criminal cases where he prosecutes and defends in Magistrates’ and Crown Court cases. He deals with a broad range of trials, sentencing, appeals against conviction/sentence and other general criminal matters. He is a Grade 1 prosecutor.
Civil
Kyle has experience of small claims and fast track claims and appears in cases involving landlord and tenant, debt recovery/contractual disputes, Stage 3 hearings and case management hearings.
Licensing and Regulatory
Kyle has a developing licensing and regulatory practice and regularly acts for public authorities. He is able to deploy several years’ in-house experience of advising and representing local authority departments, in a wide array of legal matters.
Family
Kyle represents clients in private law family hearings including non-molestation, child arrangements and occupation orders. He has also appeared at contested final hearings.
