Jodie accepts instructions in all areas of Crime and Public and Private Children work. Prior to starting pupillage Jodie prosecuted Road Traffic Offences for Sussex Police, regularly appearing in the Magistrates’ Court. 

   

She spent several months volunteering for Release, a charity that provides legal advice on the law relating to drugs and drugs offences. She was the Legal Researcher for Release’s 2017 updated publication, ‘Sex Workers and the Law’. 

   

Jodie has experience working with mentally vulnerable people and youths, having worked as an Appropriate Adult for police detainees for eight months prior to the completion of the BPTC.
