Career

Jeffrey has over 30 years’ experience prosecuting and defending and has appeared in countless criminal cases and courts.

In 2003 he published a text book on Sexual Offences and since then he has been involved in a large number of high profile and complex cases involving such allegations.

Jeffrey is a Grade 4 prosecutor on the CPS List of Approved Advocates and is regularly briefed to prosecute large and complicated cases, including frauds, murders and serious sexual offences.

Notable cases:

Defending a 19 year old man who kicked and stamped an 80 year old to death Defending a mentally unstable man who stabbed randomly four women in a car park Defending in a joint ‘Carousel fraud’ involving some £20 million Prosecuting a murder by a young man who, when arguing with his best friend, stabbed him to death Prosecuting a. multi-handed fraud by a group of travellers defrauding a pensioner of close to £1 million Prosecuting (and defending) numerous historical serious sexual offences.
