Cerys is a specialist family law barrister.

Having qualified as a solicitor in 2010 and a solicitor Advocate in 2015, Cerys understands both sides of the profession and how to advise and support lay and professional clients throughout the process. Whilst being recognised as a highly persuasive advocate she is also renowned for her compassionate client care.

Financial Remedies

Cerys is regularly instructed in financial remedy matters regarding the division of marital assets, the enforcement of such orders and the associated costs. With a background in white collar crime, Cerys is forensic in her preparation and approach, which assists her financial remedy practice.

Cerys also accepts instructions in TOLATA and has provided seminars for Law Societies and Resolution.

Private Law

Cerys is also regularly instructed by parents in relation to child arrangement cases. Cerys has specific expertise in dealing with cases that involve parental alienation, coercive control, complex domestic abuse and honour-based violence as well as specific issue orders, prohibited steps and relocation.

Public Law

Cerys accepts instructions from both parents, family members and the children’s Guardian at all stages of care proceedings and is highly experienced at dealing with cases involving non-accidental injury, fabricated or induced illness, chronic neglect, substance abuse, mental health and domestic abuse.

Direct Access

Cerys also accepts instructions from lay clients via Direct Access.

Seminars
