Position

Amelia accepts instructions in all areas of Family Law. She represents local authorities, parents and children in public law proceedings. She also regularly represents parents in private children cases and also undertakes financial relief work.

She has experience of immigration law and so is well-equipped to deal with family cases which also involve immigration issues.

Amelia has been particularly commended for her sensitive and patient approach when working with clients who have learning difficulties or a mental illness.

Amelia also undertakes pro bono work, representing parents of children with special needs in the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunals.
