Position
George has a wealth of experience in representing parents and children in divorce, financial, adoption, wardship, and public and private law Children Act proceedings before different levels of tribunals, from Magistrates to complex High Court proceedings. He has conducted numerous High Court trials with complexities such as international elements, shaking injuries and FII. He more recently receives instructions from Local Authorities in addition to representing parents and children. Notable cases include:

Career
Called to the Bar 2022; previously a Solicitor (2001). George was a solicitor for over 20 years specialising in family law before transferring to the Bar. As a solicitor, George was a member of the Children Panel from 2013 through to 2022, where he also gained considerable experience representing children in care, both through their CAFCASS Guardians and directly, ensuring that the most vulnerable in society had their voices heard.
