What significant projects or deals has the legal team worked on in the past year?  Can you provide examples of successful outcomes or major accomplishments?

The team is involved in supporting the operation of some of the UK’s most critical national infrastructure – from all aspects of telecoms, data and consumer fairness compliance to migration off legacy platforms to new technology to partnerships with world’s leading technology firms. Successful management of GBP£3bn in threatened litigation – including one of the UK’s largest opt-out class actions.  

How does the team measure performance?

Monthly tracking of key KPIs with CEO in Performance Reviews: i) engagement and inclusion Index; ii) budget; iii) financial provisions: litigation, compliance and regulatory; iv) no surprises: no material adverse impact in identified key matters; v) value creation: delivery vs identified key matters

How does the legal team collaborate with other departments within the company?

Fully integrated team across legal, compliance, co sec and regulatory with functional Leadership Team members also forming part of all business leadership teams.
