How do you approach managing legal aspects during periods of instability or crises, and how does your legal strategy align with the broader business strategy to ensure the organisation’s resilience?   

  In order to address the legal management of these factors, compliance will seek to support collaborating so that there is an integrated and strategic approach, including all areas of the organization. Mainly focusing on the identification of legal and regulatory compliance risks aligned with the commercial strategy of both entities.  

What are the main cases or transactions you have been involved in recently?   

Our main shareholder, Centro Financiero Crecer, acquired AFP Crecer in El Salvador. Crecer Lab was also created, a company also part of Centro Financiero Crecer dedicated to the development of innovation with an impact on the strategy of AFP Crecer and Seguros Crecer and extending its reach to other companies in the country.  

What emerging technologies do you see as having the most significant impact on the legal profession in the near future, and how do you stay updated on these developments?   

 For me, artificial intelligence (AI) is one of the technologies that has the greatest potential to revolutionise the legal and compliance profession, it is a novelty that is already here and that, when used correctly, helps us do our work in a more efficient way, automating tasks such as document review and jurisprudence research, allowing the person to focus more time on complex issues and direct service to clients. To stay updated, I actively participate in conferences and courses that always integrate these topics. Likewise, Crecer companies celebrate an innovation week annually, where this and other topics are also known.
