How do you approach managing legal aspects during periods of instability or crises, and how does your legal strategy align with the broader business strategy to ensure the organisation’s resilience?  

I tend to remain calm and focused always thinking there is a future – so to avoid decisions taken too fast or for wrong motives. In particular, as business contributors, we have a unique position to make priorities emerge vs. temporary concerns or small business. 

What are the main cases or transactions that you have been involved in recently?  

Many different sorts, but I’d mention real estate projects and international Intellectual Property litigation. 

How have you integrated technology into your legal processes, and what impact has this had on efficiency and compliance?  

An example is the development of a tool to track activities of the department and extract data and statistics 

What role does the legal department play in promoting and ensuring corporate social responsibility in your organisation?  

Very central, especially if you consider Code of Ethics and Suppliers’ Code of Conduct enactment which fall both in our scope of work 

What do you see as the major legal challenges for businesses in Italy over the next five years, and how are you preparing to address them?  

Supply chain monitoring. Supplier’s compliance. Zoning regulation for industrial investments (due to lack of proactiveness and efficiency of the public administration). We’re addressing this stimulating proper company’s organisation and hiring very specialised internal resources.
