Managing legal risks during times of instability or crisis requires a proactive and adaptable approach. One must anticipate and assess through planning, vulnerability audit, risks matrix including contingency plans. Close communication with the business is a must – to know their objectives and priorities. Flexibility on contract management like force majeure clauses and renegotiation and termination, knowing your regulatory and governmental landscape and trends and building resilience for the future, lessons learned, investing in technology.  

What are the main cases or transactions you have been involved in recently?  

The legal department of a cosmetics company navigates a fascinating and complex landscape. Here are some of the most common types of legal cases we handle: revisiting and approval of product advertisement, robust our trademark protection by implementing the Global Brand Protection Program in LATAM, digitalisation of contract management and supporting the ethics correspondent in various speak up channel investigations.
