Gaston is the general counsel of Peninsula Investments Group. He has over 14 years of experience, earned his L.L.M. from Columbia University (New York) and his J.D. from the Universidad Católica of Uruguay. He is responsible for all legal matters, such as structuring funds and investments in different jurisdictions, preparing offering documents, negotiating and drafting joint venture agreements, operating agreements, shareholders agreements and other commercial agreements, giving legal advice, leading due diligence and compliance processes. 

Prior to joining Peninsula Investments Group, Gaston was an international aassociate for the projects, energy and infrastructure group at Allen & Overy (Washington, DC), where he was actively involved in advising international companies and multilateral agencies mainly regarding infrastructure deals in Latin America and Africa. Before Allen & Overy, he worked as an associate at the corporate and banking group for the law firm Guyer & Regules (Montevideo, Uruguay) and as business and legal advisor for a Brazilian international company.
