Managing all aspects of MHV’s legal function, Kypros’ overall goal is to reduce the group’s legal risk. In addition to continuously evaluating and setting the legal team’s longer-term strategic initiatives, Kypros’ vast spectrum of responsibilities includes ongoing mergers and acquisitions (M&A), financing and refinancing projects, licensing agreements and general corporate day-to-day matters. Kypros also assists MHV’s various business units in achieving group commercial objectives. This involves collaborating with stakeholders on projects ranging from estate sales and development to licensing and leasing of commercial spaces within the group’s portfolio of high-end hotels. He further manages board and investor relations and relationships with financial institutions.

With an LLB from Bristol University, Kypros is a dual-qualified Lawyer, trained as a solicitor of England and Wales and an advocate of Cyprus. His extensive experience primarily lies in finance and corporate/M&A transactions, having worked on a range of high-profile, cross-border transactions in both London and Cyprus. This includes seven years at a “City” law firm in London, before moving back to Cyprus to join a big four-affiliated legal practice, where he managed a team of seven before leaving at the director level.
