Could you share an example of a time when you came up with an innovation that improved how your legal team works and did not come at a large expense? 

Since the region I handle (SouthLAC) is rather large, we must review materials for several brand teams. We initiated a weekly call with a 15 min slot for the team that requested it, to go over all materials and publicity for the month with the legal, regulatory, and corporate communications teams to have an open discussion with the teams on their materials and improvements and changes that must be implemented. This has reduced our workload as the teams are continuously learning from the other team’s experiences.

What is a cause, business related or otherwise, that you care about, and why? 

As for Diageo, diversity and inclusion has been a standard in my career. Even when I was in a law firm, I was part of the diversity committee. Now at Diageo I have been able to potentialise my work for this cause as we are constantly participating in volunteer days and part of my main functions is making sure that all our publicity and marketing materials are inclusive. I’ve also been part of AbogadasMX for the past three years.
