What are the most significant cases or transactions that your legal team has recently been involved in?

Amongst others, I played a key role in developing and implementing the logistics network for Mercado Libre. This involved negotiating and finalising a substantial number of contracts with various carriers. By structuring these agreements, we optimised the delivery process, leading to the successful implementation of same-day deliveries, positioning Mercado Libre as a leader in rapid delivery within the e-commerce industry.

What is a cause, business related or otherwise, that you care about, and why? 

I am passionate about the logistics and operations sector, particularly its legal implementation, as it serves as the backbone of numerous industries. As we observed during the pandemic, efficient logistics systems enabled companies to expand their reach to those in need while also helping to reduce costs. The integration of technology into logistics and operations has revolutionised the sector, facilitating greater efficiency, real-time tracking, and improved data analysis. However, there remains much to explore and research regarding the legal implications of these technological advancements, which present a complex and ongoing challenge.
