What are the most significant cases or transactions that your legal team has recently been involved in?

Over the past few years, the team has worked on a wide variety of matters. From enhancing corporate governance processes, drafting over 100 contracts per month, to supporting the business with anti-money laundering and other financial regulatory inquiries, all while continuing to adapt to the Traton Group guidelines.

Could you share an example of a time when you came up with an innovation that improved how your legal team works and did not come at a large expense?

Even though innovation is still not considered a priority by many in-house legal teams, my team and I are constantly looking for ways to simplify our processes and eliminate administrative work so we can be more time-efficient service providers, enhance our various skills, and aim for better productivity.

One specific example of innovation implemented by the team is the use of digital signatures in all our commercial agreements with business partners and vendors. This has simplified our contracting process and supported the company’s sustainability programme.

What is a cause, business related or otherwise, that you care about, and why?

For the past couple of years, I have been genuinely invested in improving my leadership abilities for the well-being of both the team and the business. Recently, I have been working with my team to focus on our mental health and to build trust among us, so we feel confident expressing our thoughts and concerns. This approach helps us avoid potential burnout and ensures the general well-being and optimal performance of the team. I also feel very fortunate to work at a company that provides a variety of leadership tools and resources.
