What are the most significant cases or transactions that you have been involved in over the past year?

I spearheaded an M&A project for the entire investment portfolio of a private equity group, with a total deal value of US$100m. The transaction involved a leading global investment bank as the seller and a prominent Vietnamese industrial land developer as the buyer. My responsibilities encompassed advising on and reviewing the investment structure, conducting due diligence on all five asset companies within the portfolio, reviewing transactional documents, and overseeing the deal completion and post-completion processes.

My legal team offers comprehensive solutions for all corporate, investment, and operational matters within the company. We serve as both legal counsel and strategic advisors, equipped to address a wide range of practical challenges, including but not limited to tax, finance, environment and development perspectives.

Are the effects of AI on the legal world overplayed, or underplayed?

Many law firms have adopted AI tools to speed up legal research and analysis, allowing attorneys to focus on more complex tasks. AI can be used to automate routine contract drafting and review, reducing the time and cost associated with these tasks.
